What is Capstone?
Capstone is an opportunity for you to own your education. In 8th, 11th, and 12th grade, you spend the latter half of the academic year researching an independent project that demonstrates the skills you cultivated over the course of your studies.
You are encouraged to use your project as an opportunity to do first-hand research, shadowing professionals, and seeking out hands-on experience related to your project.
The 8th-grade Capstone Project has an option of opt-in for high school credit. In 11th grade, Capstone is used as an opportunity to begin researching your year-long senior Capstone project.
