The freedom to find your team
Many private independent schools require participation on school athletic teams, which can restrict your opportunities and limit your chances to pursue individual goals. At Peak, we believe extracurricular activities are a natural way for students to develop collaboration and leadership skills as well as a strong personal work ethic. As such, we prioritize cultivating community partnerships that allow for you to participate on the team that fits your goals.
As a student at The Peak School, you are allowed to tryout for sports teams at the local public middle school and high school. We also partner with Team Summit, Team Breckenridge, Summit Nordic Ski Club, and Summit Ski Mountaineering to support student athletes who want to take advantage of Summit County's world class skiing and snowboarding terrain.
Additionally, many of our students choose to commit to elite club teams in sports, including ice hockey, figure skating, baseball, equestrian, mountain biking, and ski mountaineering. We make it a priority to ensure you have the flexibility and support to pursue your athletic goals while also receiving an enriching and challenging college-preparatory education.
